"DEFENDING FREEDOM" DESERT CAMO WRISTBAND
DefendingFreedom.net
Brigade Quartermasters teamed with the DefendingFreedom.net to raise money in support of our serving Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen and their families. For each $3.00 Defending Freedom band sold, we send the same amount $3.00 to DefendingFreedom.net for donations to the Armed Forces Relief Trust (www.afrtrust.org) and other charities. This ARF fund was created by the four Military Aid Societies - Air Force Aid Society, Army Emergency Relief, Coast Guard Mutual Assistance, and Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society - in effort to provide a single vehicle to accept donations that will benefit the men and women of our Armed Forces and their families. Assistance from the Trust can include payment for a soldier's airfare to fly home for his father's funeral, a special reading program for a sailor's daughter, special medical attention for a pilot's expectant spouse, or college tuition for a soldier's child. DefendingFreedom.net has raised over $380,000 to date, and has a goal to raise $1 million over the next 12 months.
